How To Remove Mower Deck On Kubota Zero Turn

I'm fairly new to both Kubota and zero-turn mowers. I appreciate in accelerate any assist that tin be provided. I did a search for this topic through this site but couldn't find anything. I want to remove the deck of my Z421 threescore" so that I can do a better cleaning job AND supersede the blades. The instructions (I utilize the term loosely) in the possessor'southward manual are incomplete and the Kubota maintenance aid (a video bachelor through the Kubota app) leaves out too many steps. I showed the video to a Kubota mechanic at my local dealer and he said, "I don't practise it this way. Go on YouTube and find a video." Well, I went on YouTube and I can't find a video that is relevant.

My ask is this: Does anyone know of a good video that shows step-by-step how to remove and replace the deck of a Z421 (ideally lx")? Thank you!

I tried and tried to let them let us make basic videos for this exact kind of thing. Merely no, they idea it would have from the dealers. They want people who tin't exercise things to take it to the dealer all the fourth dimension. I don't fully hold with it but whatever. The attorneys werent addicted of it either (liability).

Put the height control knob every bit low as information technology will go. Permit the deck down. Remove the chugalug from the clutch nether the engine. Remove the pins that concur the deck to the hangers. push the lift pedal, to raise the hangers out of the way. Put the park restriction OFF and release the hst's. Then put your foot on the trailer hitch, and your hands on acme of the roll bar, and pull the coil bar downwardly. The front end of the mower volition raise (or should) over the deck, you will feel it kinda balance. Plow the mower by hand and so that information technology clears the deck and then allow it back downward.

reinstalling the deck is the verbal reversal starting with putting the deck back under the mower, and then put the lift arms dorsum down using the lift lever, then put the pins back in, then belt, etc.

I alive by myself and tin't get a video for you. GF likes to exercise that kind of thing but she'south a poor camera person, plus nobody wants to expect at a short fat bald guy on youtube anyway then I'll spare you all.

Wouldn't information technology be easier to buy a mower lift? I know some Kubota mowers have an onboard elevator characteristic already, or one cab be added as an accessory. I had to add mine, but it is a ZD1011 model.

I do have the mower lift installed but it doesn't raise much more than a foot. I too have a Harbor Freight ATV lift, which can go the mower up higher.
